PATTERNS WILL BE UPLOADED TO THIS PAGE FEBRUARY 1, 2026

Walk/Trot Youth
For any youth 18 & under who just want a fun, simple ride. Perfect for green horses, green riders, or anyone whose horse showed up a little extra hairy today. No lope required — just good manners, good vibes, and two solid gears.

Walk/Trot Open
Open to riders of all ages. Great for horses who are still figuring out life… or riders who feel the same. Walk and trot/jog only — because sometimes that’s all the ambition we’ve got. Relaxed, friendly, and perfect for tuning up or trying something new.
13 & Under
For our younger riders, age 13 & under.
-
Horses 5 & under can roll with a snaffle.
-
Horses 6 & over put on their big-kid bridle (shanked bit).
Either way, nobody gets bonus points for fancy headgear. Just bring your best attempt at steering and stopping.
14–18
Riders age 14-18
-
Horses 5 & under can roll with a snaffle.
-
Horses 6 & over put on their big-kid bridle (shanked bit).
Everyone judged the same — whether your horse is sleek and shiny or straight out of the pasture with a winter coat that could rival a wooly mammoth.
Open
Open to riders of any age who want to lope and show off a little. Same snaffle/bit rules as the age divisions apply. Come as you are — fancy show saddle or well-loved ranch rig — we judge the ride, not the rhinestones.
Green Horse
For horses in their first year of showing or any horse 5 & under still learning the ropes. Snaffle, bosal, or shanked bit are all welcome. Expect some wiggly lines, big efforts, and plenty of “they’re trying, I promise!” moments. We’re here for it.

Blind Showmanship
Think you and your horse can handle a little mystery? This class is open to any age and comes with one seriously gorgeous prize: a high-quality leather buckle inlaid halter.
-
Cost: $20
-
Entry Deadline: You MUST be entered before the completion of 14–18 Showmanship. After that, the gate is closed and the chaos begins.
-
Pattern: Not posted. Not announced. Not hinted at. It stays top secret ’til it’s your turn to shine.
How It Works
All competitors will enter the arena together and line up facing the gate like well-behaved little ducklings.
-
The first competitor gets 2 minutes to study the pattern.
-
When time’s up, they head out and perform it.
-
While they’re showing, the second competitor gets their 2-minute preview.
-
And so on down the line until everyone has either mastered the mystery pattern… or made it up as they went (we accept both).
About the Prize
We need 15 entries for the leather halter to go home with the class winner.
If we don’t hit 15, don’t panic — the halter goes into a raffle for all class entrants, and the class winner will still walk away with a pretty dang great alternate prize.
This class is all about having fun, trusting your horse, and embracing the “surprise!” energy of a true hairy horse show.

Mystery Speed Pattern
Think you’ve got guts, grit, and a horse that can turn without questioning your life choices? Welcome to the Mystery Speed Pattern — open to all ages and powered entirely by chaos and caffeine.
-
Cost: $20
-
Entry Deadline: You MUST be entered before the pattern is posted. Once we reveal it, entries slam shut faster than your horse spotting the trailer gate.
-
Pattern: Dropped like a bomb at the start of the speed-event rotation. Until then, it’s a tighter secret than whatever your horse rolled in last night.
How It Works
When speed events begin, we’ll unveil the pattern. It might be easy. It might be evil. It might make your horse reconsider being a horse.
Either way, your job is simple:
Run fast. Turn tight. Stay upright. Don’t mow down cones like they owe you money.
Fastest clean run wins. Period.
About the Prize
high-quality leather buckle inlaid halter — bold, fancy, and guaranteed to make your horse look like it trains itself (even if it doesn’t).
This is speed, mystery, and full-on hairy-horse-show energy. Saddle up and send it.
